A Big Night Out

Wyatt let his Mom and Dad have their first night out together without him while he stayed with Nana and Papa. Friday night Matt and I went to the Reds game with our friends Brandon and Lauren. Unfortunately the Reds lost but it was a fun night out. Then I stayed at my parent's house with Wyatt and Mosley instead of heading back to Loveland at 11:00 at night. Wyatt ate at 10:00 p.m. and then went 5 1/2 hours before his next feeding. He's beginning to go 4-5 hours on a regular basis when he first goes down. This is nice for me:) Hopefully this continues! On Saturday we went for a walk in Clifton and stopped by to visit some family friends so they could meet Wyatt.

Tonight Matt, Wyatt and I just got back from an exciting trip to Target and Wyatt is taking his first long nap of the day. He's had a lot of awake time today and spent a long time laying on his play mat checking out his toys. He really seems to enjoy that! Tomorrow we are going to pack for our trip next week to Norris Lake. Wyatt and I are riding down with GG on Monday and Matt is coming down on Tuesday night. This will be Wyatt's first trip! I have to get used to packing for both of us now:) Hopefully I remember everything! Well, I hope everyone has a great 4th of July and a wonderful week. I will write again after our trip to Norris.

A Big Boy!

Wyatt had his 1 month doctor's appointment today and is a growing boy! He weighed in at 11 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 23 inches. He is in the 90th percentile for height and the 80th percentile for weight...he obviously got his height from the Glassmeyer side of the family:) He got one shot today and did great with it. He has pretty much been sleeping since then except when it's time to eat. After the doctor's Wyatt and I went over to Cahira's house to visit with her and the twins, Josie and Maddie. We had a great time hanging out and chatting while the babies slept and ate. The picture of the three of them is hilarious because Wyatt looks huge next to them! He seemed to favor Josie when they were laying together so maybe that's who he will end up dating:)

Wyatt has started having more awake time during the day and is a lot more alert when he is awake. He loves laying on his play mat looking at the toys above him. He moves his arms and legs around the whole time and often hits the toys with his hands. He is starting to look back and forth more and will follow a toy when I move it from side to side. We have tummy time every day and he is able to lift his head and move it from side to side. He seems to like laying on his back better though.

Matt is off tomorrow so we will all have some time to hang out together. Also, Matt gets to spend some quality bonding time with Wyatt while I go get a massage. I am really looking forward to that:) It should be a good day.

Wyatt is 1 Month Old!

Today Wyatt turned 1 month old. It's hard to believe it's already been a month! It has gone so fast and he seems to be growing every day. Today Wyatt and I went to visit Ellen, Grace, and Hannah. GG also came over to get her grandchild fix for the day. Grace (who is 2 years old) saw her new cousin Wyatt today for the second time. She wanted to hold him this time but that didn't last long. As far as the rest of the weekend goes not much happened. On Saturday Matt was gone all day at a show for work so Wyatt and I hung out. We went for a walk in the morning and then that evening we met Nana, Papa, Doug, Michelle, and Evan at Maketewah Country Club for dinner. Papa and I hit golf balls first while Wyatt "watched"...which consisted of sleeping. On Sunday Matt, Wyatt and I had a lazy day around the house and then enjoyed a relaxing walk around the neighborhood that evening. When Matt gets home from work today I get to head to the gym for a short workout which I am looking forward to. I'm going to go give Wyatt a bath now so he's all clean and ready for Daddy to get home:) It was a good weekend and a good day!

Hanging Out

Well, not much has been going on this week for us. Wyatt and I have done a lot of hanging out and we've managed to get out some also. On Tuesday Wyatt and I went to lunch with Brandon, Lauren, and Ed, friends of mine from the gym. Then we met Nana at Kenwood and went to Build-a-Bear to make bears for Wyatt's new cousins, Lucy and Hannah. Matt was off on Wednesday so we all headed to GG's for the afternoon. We walked down to Mt. Lookout Square and enjoyed a nice lunch a Zip's Cafe. It was a beautiful day for a walk! On Thursday Wyatt and I went for walk and besides that just hung out around the house and relaxed. Friday was our most eventful day. Wyatt and I went to the National Underground Freedom Center with Nana, Evan, and Katie. Then we met Papa for lunch and then stopped by his office so Wyatt could meet some people. Now Matt is playing with Wyatt while I am updating the blog. He will be gone at a show all day tomorrow so it will be Wyatt and I hanging out together. We'll probably go for a walk and then take it easy. And maybe meet up with Nana, Papa, Doug, and Evan for dinner. We'll see what the day brings!

Matt's First Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day on Sunday. We went with Nana and Papa down to Elk Lake in Owenton, Kentucky. Their friends, Joe and Ginny live there and were kind enough to have us down for the day. Wyatt went on his first boat ride and slept through most of the ride. He seemed pretty relaxed despite being stuffed into a life jacket! We all took turns sitting in the shade with him while the others soaked up some sun. It was really hot but there was a nice breeze out on the water. We stayed there for dinner and grilled out and then headed back home. Today it was back to work for Matt so Wyatt and I hung out for the day. We visited Nana and did a little shopping. Then Matt stayed home with Wyatt for awhile tonight while I went to the gym. It was too hot today to walk outside!

Seems pretty relaxed!

A Nice Friday

Matt was off yesterday and it was nice to have him around after 7 straight days of work. We hung around at home for most of the day. Wyatt, Mosley, and I went for a walk on the Loveland Bike Trail and it was a beautiful day for a walk, in the shade. Friday night we headed over to Adam and Kenda's house for a big night out:) Wyatt stayed awake for most of the time we were there, and it was fun for them to see him awake for a change. Late evening seems to be when he has some good awake time. And he had a great night of sleep last night so I feel very rested today. He went 4 hours between feedings instead of 3 hours. It's amazing what a difference that makes! Today we are getting ready to go to a wedding shower for my cousin and Papa is coming over to take Mosley for a run. She will be happy about that:)

Relaxing at Home

After a very eventful weekend we have taken it easy this week. Wyatt, Mosley and I have gotten out almost everyday for a walk, but besides that we have been mostly hanging out at home. Today Wyatt did go to his first yard sale. Pretty exciting:) After the yard sale GG, Great Grandma, Wyatt and I went out to lunch, and since lunch Wyatt has been hanging out with GG at her house. It is kind of weird being at home without Wyatt, but I am getting some things done around the house. Also, I am going out to dinner tonight with some friends and am looking forward to that. Well, there isn't much else to tell about our week so here are some more pics of Wyatt.

A Busy Weekend!

Wyatt turned 2 weeks old on Friday and we had a very busy weekend. On Friday Wyatt and I went to the Butterfly Show at Krohn Conservatory with Nana, Cousin Evan, and Nana's friend Nancy. Wyatt of course slept through the entire thing and didn't actually get to see any butterflies. Maybe next year:) Then we went back to Nana's house for lunch and some hanging out time.

Julie, check out my frog outfit:)

Hanging out at Nana's house

On Saturday Wyatt and I hung out around the house for awhile and then headed to Mariemont. First we stopped by Uncle Mark and Aunt Tracy's house to see the boys and Lucy. Wyatt got to meet his new cousin Lucy and they both slept the entire time! Also, Andrew, Wil, and Ryan got to meet their new cousin Wyatt. Matt stopped by also with a Shelby Cobra and took Mark for a ride around town. Then Wyatt and I met Matt at a garage party for the Concours d'Elegance car show that was over the weekend. There is a garage in Mariemont that restores old cars and they host the Saturday night party each year. This was Wyatt's first introduction to exotic cars:) Our friends Pete and Amy got to meet Wyatt and we were able to congratulate them in person on their engagement!

On Sunday Wyatt went to his first official car show! We figured we might as well start him early:) Matt was working at the show so Wyatt and I went with Nana, Papa, and Evan and met Grampa and Adam there also. It was a beautiful day to be outside! Then, that night our friends Mike and Sarah and their 10 month old son Charlie came over for dinner and to meet Wyatt. It was a gorgeous night so we were able to sit outside on the deck and enjoy dinner and some hanging out time. And that concluded our busy weekend!

Today, Wyatt and I are going to relax and hang out at home in our pajamas:)

Relaxing Around the House

Wyatt is doing great and seems to be growing every day! He is a good eater and a good sleeper, so let's hope this continues. He is going to have a big night tonight with some visitors. Adam and Kenda, Chris and Francesca, and Jenny and Dave are coming over for pizza and drinks and to meet the little guy. He's resting up now so he's ready for the night:)

Here are some more pictures of Wyatt hanging out at home.

Hanging Out at Home

Wyatt turned 1 week old yesterday! Mom and Wyatt had a relaxing day hanging out at home together. Kenda, Julie, and GG stopped by to visit. GG hung out with Wyatt so Mom could take a nap and catch up on some sleep. Thanks GG! That night we went for a walk with Mosley and met some new people in the neighborhood. After our walk Wyatt had his second bath and did great. I think all of the activity wore him out some because he had a great night of sleeping:) Today Mom ventured out alone with Wyatt for the first time and ran some errands. Matt has been back at work all week so we've been finding things to do to keep busy. Tonight Wyatt is going to Nana and Papa's house for a visit while Matt and I go to the hospital to visit Wyatt's two new cousins. Lucy Elizabeth was born Thursday May 31 to proud parents Mark and Tracy and Hannah Jennifer was born today, June 2 to proud parents Mike and Ellen. Hopefully Wyatt will get to meet his new cousins soon.
