Well we've been very busy here enjoying the summer. The week after I finished work the boys and I headed to Naples, Florida with Nana and Papa. We had a great time swimming, riding the tram to the beach, playing at the beach, going for runs and just hanging out. Wyatt got very comfortable swimming with his water wings on and was jumping in all by himself...and going under water! This was Chase's first time really swimming and he loved the water. He liked to splash the water which would then soak his face. He was pretty funny. It was a great week!
The rest of June flew by and then it was down to Norris Lake for the Fourth of July with the Glassmeyers. It was a great weekend and all of the cousins had fun spending time together. We had beautiful weather and fun times!
Chase is growing quickly and it's hard to believe that he is already 10 months old! He is scooting around now but not officially crawling on his hands and knees...he's pretty close though. He is babbling a lot and says "mama, dada, papa" and lots of other random sounds. He waves bye but hasn't said "bye, bye" yet. He tries hard to say "dog" while he signs it and makes a sound almost like a woof. He's a talkative little guy. He is proving to be a little chunkier than Wyatt and is a solid little man. At his 9 month appointment he weighed 21 pounds 3 ounces and was 29.25 inches long. He is a very happy, laid back little guy and loves watching Wyatt. Wyatt can get him to belly laugh better than anyone else:)
We have had a fun, busy summer filled with swimming, hanging out with friends and family, playing outside (when it's not 100 degrees!), and relaxing. I go back to work in 2 weeks so we are trying to enjoy these last days of summer.
I am not able to post pictures right now...I haven't quite figured out what is wrong...but click on the link to the side of the blog that says "More Fun Photos" and that will take you to our Mobile Me gallery if you are interested. There are a lot of pics posted there. Hope everyone has had a wonderful summer!
