We had a great Memorial Day weekend at the lake with Matt's family. Chase and Wyatt were both great travelers and had a good time playing at the lake for the weekend. Wyatt enjoyed playing with all of his cousins and they were all completely enamored by Chase. It was pretty cute:) Hannah was especially into Chase and would just sit with him while he played and would make sure he had his toys. Some of the highlights of the weekend were...boat rides, getting ice cream at the dock, playing on the inflatable water slide, golf cart rides, throwing rocks in the lake, and playing with water balloons. We had beautiful weather which allowed us to spend lots of time outside in the sun:)
Also, Wyatt turned 3 last Tuesday! It's hard to believe my little man is 3. He is having a gymnastics birthday party next Saturday so there will be pictures to come from that. Wyatt did attend his first tea party on Sunday for his cousin Lucy's third birthday. It was Wyatt and 8 girls:) He got into it after awhile and was even pouring his own "tea" (water) into his little tea cup.
Chase is growing quickly and is now 8 months old! He is rolling all over the place and really seems like he wants to crawl. He is now sitting independently for short periods of time and is getting stronger everyday. He is babbling constantly now and will even squeal sometimes...he's probably trying to be heard over Wyatt:) He is saying "dada" but of course hasn't managed to say "mama" yet. He is a pretty happy little guy.
We hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend!

Hanging Out
It's hard to believe that Wyatt's 3rd birthday is next week! My little man is growing up:) This year he is having a gymnastics party and is very excited to invite all of his friends to his party. He knows he's turning 3 so now when we say two more of anything (2 more shots, throws, etc.) he says "No, three more because I'm going to get 3 soon!" We're in trouble when he gets older!
Chase is growing up quickly too. He's 7 1/2 months now and is my little chunky monkey! He is rolling all over the place and loves playing on his belly. He is starting to sit independently but seems like he is more interested in learning how to crawl. He loves watching Wyatt and laughs at everything he does. Also, he smiles and laughs whenever the dog walks by him. It's pretty cute. He now has his two bottom teeth and when he was getting his teeth he was always sucking his lips in which made him look like a turtle...so now he has adopted the nickname "turtle." We also have found ourselves calling him Chaser and I think that will probably stick. Wyatt always refers to him as "Chaser".
On Mother's Day we took Wyatt to a Red's Game and he absolutely loved it! He sat through almost the whole game and kept his mitt handy just in case a ball came our way...too bad we were right behind home plate behind the net. There was no chance a ball was coming to our seats! We had great seats though. Thanks Nana and Papa!
