We had a busy but great Halloween weekend. On Friday Wyatt had his Halloween parade and party at school. I was able to go to both the parade and party this year and Nana and Evan joined us for the parade. Wyatt dressed up as a monkey but would not put on his hood...oh well, he's a two year old with his own agenda:) Then on Friday night we went to Maketewah Country Club for their Halloween party with Nana, Papa, and Evan. Wyatt spent most of the night out on the dance floor "dancing" (which really just consisted of jumping up and down and then crashing on the floor). We took it easy on Saturday until it was time for trick-or-treating. Wyatt rode his motorcycle around the cul-de-sac with his bag hanging from the handle bars. A great way to trick-or-treat! The rest of the night he spent playing basketball and playing with his buddy Elijah. It was a fun night and it was nice to have Papa join us at our house for it. To wrap up the weekend on Sunday we took Wyatt to Iron's Fruit Farm. We took a hayride and then walked a 12 acre corn maze. Wyatt really enjoyed the maze and we have decided to definitely go back next year! During this time Chase got to spend some time with Aunt Ellen, Grace, Hannah, and Grandpa...thanks Ellen for watching him!
Also, Chase is now 1 month old! On Friday we had his 1 month checkup and he passed with flying colors. He weighed 9 pounds 12 ounces (50th percentile) and was 21 inches long (25th percentile). We are now calling him our little peanut...as of now he's taking after me in the height department...that might not be a good thing though:)
We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend!
