Wyatt is sick once again...this time with pink eye in both eyes and another ear infection. He just can't seem to fight off these ear infections. This is his third one since mid-December! Even though he is sick he is still in good spirits. Matt stayed home with him this morning and I'm home with him this afternoon and he just went down for a nap. He is trying more everyday to crawl and will get there soon I think. Hope everyone is having a good week!

A Nice Week
Wyatt was happy to see daddy when he got home on Monday! I had the day off school and I actually got to enjoy some time for me. I dropped Wyatt off at school in the late morning then went to the gym and ran some errands. We got away from the house so Matt could recover from his red eye flight home. Then on Tuesday I got a snow day! Wyatt and I went over to GG's house for a few hours in the afternoon to see her. We had a nice day together. Wyatt and daddy then got to spend the day together on Thursday. Carrie and Sharon (his teachers) said they missed him at school on those days:) They are used to seeing him everyday.
Wyatt has been really tired this week and two nights has been asleep by 6:45...and slept through the night! I think he is going through a growth spurt because he is eating everything in sight and has seemed to have all of a sudden outgrown most of his 6-12 month onesies! This past weekend he transitioned from 4 bottles a day to only 3 and it has been working out nicely. He loves his food and readily eats 3 meals a day...and would probably eat more if we let him:) He is beginning to become more interested in feeding himself, but isn't very coordinated yet. We're working on it:)
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I am looking forward to hanging out with Wyatt!

A Weekend Without Daddy
Wyatt and I have had a great weekend together! Matt went to Arizona on Thursday for the Barret Jackson Auto Auction so it's just been Wyatt and I hanging out together since then. Friday night we hung out at home and relaxed...I watched a movie when he went to bed. Then on Saturday Nana met us at the fitness center and the three of us went swimming. The water wasn't as warm as last weekend so Wyatt got cold pretty quickly...hopefully next time the water will be warm again. On Saturday night Wyatt got to hang out with the girls. My friends Kenda and Casey came over for a girl's night...take out, beer, and a chick flick. On Sunday morning Wyatt and I went to church with Nana and then out to lunch with Nana and her Clifton friends. Wyatt totally turned on the charm with all of the ladies. I think he knows he's cute:)
He's been so good this weekend, except for deciding to get up at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday. He is definitely unpredictable in what time he gets up in the morning. Today he slept until 7:20! I like that a lot better:) His bottom teeth have both completely poked through so he isn't drooling quite as much now, which is nice. I'm sure it will start again soon when the top ones come in! He is playing in his ExerSaucer right now and he loves bouncing up and down and playing with all of the toys. He is still a very content, happy baby! Well, it's time for his dinner.

Wyatt's First Kiss!
Wyatt's teachers caught him in the act! They said that Wyatt and Lily were sitting across from each other "talking" and Wyatt leaned over, grabbed Lily by the ears and planted a big, wet kiss right on her cheek. They said it was hilarious. Then the picture following was the look he gave them when they asked him what he was doing. He's a little flirt!

On top of his first kiss Wyatt is doing great. He is getting his bottom two teeth now...the one has poked all the way through and the other one is just about there. He is drolling like a faucet now because of that! He does have another ear infection but it does not seem to be bothering him. We just went in to the doctor for a follow up from his previous ear infection and he had one in the other ear. I never would have known! He is sitting up really well now and will sit and play for a long time without toppling over. He looks like such a big boy! He has not quite figured out crawling yet, like his cousin Hannah, but is slowly working on it. I think he's so content chilling that he doesn't really care yet that he can't crawl. It will come. Instead he's rolling around to get where he wants to go. Well, that's about all that's been going on since we got home from Florida. We're trying to get back into the swing of things and back to reality:)

Happy New Year
Happy 2008! I hope everyone had a great New Years. We had a very relaxing one down in Naples with the family. On New Year's Eve we put Wyatt to bed and Nana and Papa stayed home with him. We then went down to the beach for a couple of drinks with Mark and Tracy, who were down in Bonita at Tracy's parent's house. We were home by 11:30 and watched the ball drop in Times Square. We are so wild and crazy:)
The rest of our time in Florida was great and the trip home was a lot less eventful. We got home Thursday late morning and just relaxed around the house and recovered for the rest of the day. Wyatt was exhausted because he slept from 2:30-5:00 p.m. when I finally had to wake him up! And he still went to bed by 7:30. I think all of the traveling wore him out!
He had a great day back at school yesterday and Carrie and Sharon were glad to see him. I think he was happy to see them too:) Over these past two weeks he seems to have grown up so much! He is holding his own bottle a lot of the time and feeding himself...he is a lot stronger sitting by himself and doesn't topple quite as hard when he does...he is beginning to put weight on his legs...he is starting to try to get his knees under him to crawl and actually seems to want to...and he is making a lot of new sounds while babbling. It's amazing how fast they change!
