Our Little Man

Wyatt passed his 9 month appointment with flying colors. He weighed 20 pounds, 6 ounces which put him in the 50th percentile for weight, and was 29 inches long, which put him in the 75th percentile for height. He is definitely tapering off in his growth. Even though he is slowing down he has completely transitioned into wearing all 12-18 month clothes. These now look like little boy clothes instead of baby clothes:) He is growing up so fast!

We don't have much planned for this weekend. I might take Wyatt swimming tomorrow because we haven't been in awhile. Then we are going to GG and Grandpa's for dinner Sunday night to celebrate Uncle Mike's birthday and my birthday. It will be fun for Wyatt to hang out with his cousins. 9 Months

Wyatt is 9 months old today! It's hard to believe it...time has flown by. We have his doctor's appointment on Thursday so it will be fun to see how much he has grown. His teachers said that he almost crawled today, so it should be anytime soon:) He is definitely trying!

We had a nice weekend and stayed very busy. Matt had to work until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Cincy Auto Show so Wyatt and I had lots of time to spend together. On Saturday early afternoon we had Andrew, Wil, and Ryan's birthday party. Then Wyatt and I went over to GG and Grandpa's for awhile to hang out with them. On Saturday evening Wyatt, my parents, and I went down to the car show to visit Matt and wander around. Wyatt seemed to enjoy looking around at everyone and everything. On Sunday the three of us hung out around the house since we hadn't seen daddy all weekend. Matt rigged up a little "car" made out of a Coors Light box for Wyatt and towed him around the house for awhile. Wyatt loved visiting all of the rooms of the house and checking things out. It was rather amusing watching the little man be pulled around in a beer box:)

More Snow Pics

It was a beautiful night last night with the snow falling so we loaded Wyatt up in the backpack carrier and headed out for a walk around the neighborhood. Mosley enjoyed herself too:)

We finally got a good snow that we would go out and play in. I had a snow day on Wednesday so Wyatt and I got to hang out for the day. I took him out in the snow for the first time and he had fun watching Mosley run around and play. He even made a snow angel:)

A Day Off

I am off work today so Wyatt and I are going to hang out together. We are both battling a cold so we are going to just chill for the day. We may go downtown to see Papa for lunch but that's probably it.

We had a good weekend. On Saturday Wyatt and I wandered around Kenwood Towne Center for a little just to get out. We also picked up a new bath mat and towel for his bathroom:) Then Saturday afternoon Nana, Evan, Wyatt, and I went to the Zoo for a quick trip to see the Manatees. Wyatt loved standing there watching them swim back and forth! Then we met Papa and Matt at the country club for dinner. Wyatt and Evan were both being little hams at dinner and keeping us entertained. We all went back to Nana and Papa's house, put the boys down, and then watched a movie. Before bed Evan and Wyatt were playing on Nana and Papa's bed and Wyatt was totally belly laughing at Evan being silly. It was so cute! My dad got a video of it so if I can I will post that soon.

On Sunday Matt, Wyatt, and I went down to Newport on the Levee and walked around for awhile. We were going to go to the aquarium but it was packed. We'll go back another day. We walked out onto the Purple People Bridge for the first time but it was really windy...Wyatt thought the wind was pretty funny though. It was so warm out! Then to top off the weekend the 3 of us went over to Adam and Kenda's house Sunday night and hung out. Wyatt was up until 9:00! He is such a little trooper. It was fun to hang out with them and Chris and Frankie.

Snow Day!

Wyatt and I had a great day off today...we both had school canceled! Matt was actually home most of the day also because he has pink eye now...I guess it's my turn next. For the most part Wyatt and I hung around the house and played. He did some finger painting and made a Valentine's Day card for his teachers...and took three naps. He also went to the gym with me and played there for an hour while I got a good workout in. Tonight Matt put Wyatt's new car together and Wyatt was very excited about that. He sat on the floor next to Matt and watched him very intently as he put it together:) If it hadn't rained all day I was going to take Wyatt out to play in the snow, but I don't think it ever stopped raining! Oh well, we found lots of fun stuff to do inside.

Standing

Wyatt is getting a lot better about standing and putting some weight on his legs. He was standing today holding onto the coffee table, without help from Matt! This is big progress considering not too long ago he wouldn't put his feet on the ground:) He definitely takes after me. Tonight we took Wyatt swimming with all of his cousins. He had a great time and it was fun to see him, Hannah, and Lucy together again. Wyatt's teachers said he is becoming the little Casanova of the classroom...he is kissing all over everyone! We are going to have to watch out for him when he starts crawling. He will be chasing after all of the girls:) He has had a great week and I am looking forward to the weekend.
