3 Months Old

Wyatt was officially 3 months old on Saturday and is growing bigger every day! He is continuing to smile often and is now laughing sometimes. The other night he was cracking up which was making Matt and I laugh too. It was pretty cute:) He had a busy birthday weekend. On Friday night Wyatt and I went to the Taste of Blue Ash with Nana, Papa, Uncle Doug, and Cousin Evan. On Saturday Wyatt and I hung out around the house, went for a walk, and just relaxed. It was nice to spend some time together. Then Saturday night Matt, Wyatt, and I went down to Sawyer Point with Nana and Papa for the Brew Ha-Ha Festival. There were 50 comedians and 60 different beers to taste. We had a great time! He got to bed a little late last night so he slept in today until 8:15 which was nice. Today the three of us went with Nana and Papa to the Kentucky Speedway for the Arthritis Foundation Mini Grand Prix. Wyatt went to his first car race...it was only go carts but I guess you have to start somewhere:) I think we wore him out this weekend and he crashed when we got home Sunday evening. I think he'll sleep well tonight!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Crazy Weekend

Wyatt and I had a good but busy weekend. Matt left to go out of town for work on Saturday morning and is hopefully returning tomorrow night. So Wyatt and I were on our own for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon I had a bridal shower so Wyatt went over to his Uncle Mike and Aunt Ellen's house for the afternoon to hang out. Then that night I went to the Bengals game so he was at my parent's house with a sitter. That night we had a sleepover at Nana and Papa's which Mosley joined in on. Wyatt and I shared a room which I don't usually like to do but he slept great...9 1/2 hours without any middle of the night wakings:) Finally on Sunday I went to the finals of the ATP tennis tournament so Kenda and Adam came over to our house and hung out with Wyatt. He got to spend time with so many people this weekend! Then today he had his third day of school. He is doing great there which makes it so much easier for me to leave him. He took a 3 hour nap today for them! They do so much with him that he gets worn out. His teachers are great and I am so happy with my choice. Today I went to school to try to start getting my room organized. I have to be back on Wednesday and the kid's first day is next Wednesday. I don't think I'm quite ready to start yet:(

Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend!

A Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend at Norris Lake and Wyatt had fun hanging out with his cousins and meeting some family members for the first time. He was such a good boy and is a good little traveler. He has now been to Norris more times than Matt and I this summer! We are hoping to make it down again soon.

This has been a big week for both Wyatt and I. He started school yesterday! He went yesterday and today for about 5 hours each day. His teachers said he did great and they love his dimples. Everyone tries to get him to smile to see his dimples. They said he napped well, played a lot, and loved the buggy rides they took. He loves being outside and checking things out! He has become so aware of his surroundings and likes looking around. He loves to talk too and continues to be fascinated with his hands. I have to officially be back at work next Wednesday so I decided to ease both of us into separating by starting Wyatt at school early. Yesterday I had a relaxing day at the pool with friends after a trip to the gym. Today I actually went into school and worked, then got some errands done. It's so much easier to run errands without Wyatt. Next week he will go to school 3 days and the following week he will be up to full time. I've done okay during the day without him but was definitely ready to pick him up at the end of the day! I know he is in good hands and is well taken care of which definitely helps me.

Tonight, Wyatt gets to spend some quality time with Matt while I go to the tennis tournament with my brother and some of his friends. I hope everyone has a good rest of the week!

A Lazy Week

Well, we had a nice, relaxing weekend while Wyatt hung out with GG and Gramps at Norris. Matt did not have to go to Louisville so it was nice to spend some time together. I went to my cousin Meredith's wedding on Saturday and everything was beautiful. Congratulations Meredith and Josh!

Wyatt got a good report from GG and Gramps:) They said he did great the whole weekend and was a good traveler. He gets to go back down there this weekend also! We are having the Wickemeyer weekend down there so a lot of Jennifer's side of the family will be down there. Wyatt and I are heading down on Friday morning with GG and Great Grandma and Matt is meeting us down there that night. Somebody in the family has to work:)

Well, this has been a pretty lazy week, partly because it is soooo hot outside. I am ready for some cooler weather! I miss going for my long walks each day. We have still been walking around the neighborhood at night, which Wyatt seems to enjoy. He is so alert and loves looking around and checking things out. I just heard on the news that it is officially 100 degrees outside and we just broke the record from 1941! Too hot!

Hopefully it cools off soon. I hope everyone has a good weekend!

A Weekend Without Wyatt

Well, it's Saturday and Wyatt is now down at Norris Lake with GG and Gramps. I hope he slept as well for GG last night as he has been sleeping for me. Last Wednesday night he went 11 hours between feedings! He ate at 9:45 p.m. and went down and didn't get up the next morning until 8:45! Matt was up before him:) We were out in the heat Wednesday night at the swim club for Benjamin's 3rd birthday party so maybe that wore him out.

It is really weird being home without Wyatt. I woke up this morning on my own and not to him, laid in bed and read Harry Potter, and went out and got a cup of coffee. It's been relaxing but very different. I think Mosley and Enzo are enjoying the extra attention they are getting:) Matt is at work today and I am going to my cousin Meredith's wedding at noon. Then tonight Matt and I are going out to dinner with my parents and some of their friends we haven't seen in awhile. Right now we don't have any plans for Sunday and Wyatt will probably be home sometime Sunday evening. It should be a nice weekend. Thanks GG and Gramps for taking him to Norris with you! He is a little traveler this summer!

I hope everyone has a good weekend. Here are some pictures to enjoy.

Some Cute Pictures

Not much has happened since last time but I got some cute pictures of Wyatt the last couple of days and wanted to post those. We have been hanging out all week getting stuff done around the house. Today Wyatt gets to go to school with me to start getting my classroom ready. I'm trying to get motivated to go back to work! Also, this weekend will be an exciting weekend for Wyatt. He will be going to Norris Lake with GG and Gramps for the weekend! Also, Matt will be in Louisville for most of the weekend so I have a whole weekend to myself. I'm not going to know what to do! Maybe I can finish the Harry Potter book:) Well, I hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

A Good Weekend

We all had a great weekend and Wyatt got to spend lots of time with Nana and Papa. On Friday Wyatt had his 2 month doctor's appointment and had to get 4 shots! He did great with them but it took him a couple of days to recover. He was extra snuggly on Friday because he wasn't feeling well. He has stayed around the 90th percentile for height and weight and was 25 inches long and 13.8 pounds. No wonder he doesn't fit into his 0-3 month clothes anymore! The doctor said he looks healthy and everything looks good.

Wyatt and I hung out at Nana and Papa's house with Nana and Evan on Friday. Evan took his first steps and I got to see them! It was pretty exciting. Then when Michelle picked him up that night he walked some for her. Then on both Saturday and Sunday my parents watched Wyatt. On Saturday I had a bridal shower for my friend Julie and on Sunday Matt and I went to the Red's game. We drove my dad's scooter and then cruised around some after the game. It was nice to get out! Well, that was our weekend. Wyatt and I went for a walk this morning and then have been hanging around the house...a lazy day.
