Asheville
The rest of our weekend in Asheville was nice. The weather was beautiful on Sunday so we got to spent a lot of time outside. In the afternoon we went to the Lodge at French Broad Crossing, the place where my parents have property. We grilled out dinner at the lodge and hung out there for the evening. The boys had lots of room to run around and play and the adults got to chill and hang out. We were home by Monday night and Wyatt was happy to see daddy. The rest of this week has been laid back. Wyatt has gone to school while I have tried to be productive around the house. I have been working on getting the guest room move in ready for Wyatt when the baby comes:) It will be intereting moving him to a big boy bed! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Easter
I hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend! Wyatt and I are in Asheville, NC with Nana, Papa, and Evan for the weekend visiting my brother who recently moved down here. Today we took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt and they had a great time. They also got to decorate a bag to collect their eggs in and dye some eggs. Of course Wyatt wanted to "dunk" the eggs in the dye by throwing them in...not good with real eggs:) Most of his were cracked...but he had a great time doing it. After nap time we took them to a place called Fun Depot that has everything imaginable to play...go carts, miniature golf, climbing areas, etc. There was an area geared towards the younger children with slides, tunnels, and big soft play mats. The boys played nonstop for over an hour and loved it! We were trying to wear them out and I think it worked:) So far it has been a nice weekend. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow so we can get outside and play!
Wyatt's bag...he put the letters on by himself:)
The shirt he wore coloring eggs...good thing he had it on!

Friends
We've had a nice weekend so far. Last night we had some friends and their kids over for dinner and a playdate. Wyatt had fun playing with Drew and Jacob and the babies, Emme and Maddie, enjoyed watching the entertainment. It was fun having everyone over to hang out and we'll have to do it again soon. Today we are planning on relaxing and hanging out at home for most of the day. Here are some pics from last night.

Relaxing Weekend
We had a nice relaxing weekend at home. On Saturday Wyatt and I went to our last Gymboree class. Wyatt is ready for a change of scene so we are starting Tumble Bees, a gymnastics class, at Kids First Sports Center this Wednesday. I am excited because when I was young I did Tumble Bees:) It will be fun now to take my son. On Saturday evening Nana and I took Wyatt swimming while Papa watched. Wyatt couldn't reach the basketball hoop so Nana found a bucket he could use as a hoop and that made him happy. I still think he wishes he could reach the big hoop:) Then the 3 of us went out to dinner...while Matt was out enjoying himself at a bachelor party. On Sunday we had a lazy day at home. Wyatt stayed in his jammies all day and played at home. It was a nice weekend.

Big News
I'm going to start off with sharing the news that Wyatt is going to be a big brother in October! So far I don't think he has any idea what this means...and I'm sure he's going to be thrilled to share him mom:) We are all very excited!
Things have been pretty laid back here with nothing too exciting going on. We have been enjoying the nice weather and Wyatt has enjoyed getting outside to play basketball. Also, he is absolutely loving March Madness right now and we have been watching basketball daily. Today Wyatt, Mosley, and I went to Nana and Papa's house to hang out and eat dinner. Uncle Doug and Evan were also there and the boys had fun playing together. We all went for a walk in the woods...Wyatt wasn't sure at first but after a little while he did great walking holding Nana's hand and seemed to enjoy the walk. He helped Nana pick some daffodils at the end of the walk and took them into the house to Papa...it was pretty cute. So far it has been a nice weekend and we are looking forward to having daddy home tomorrow to hang out.

Bachelor Weekend
Last weekend Matt and Wyatt got to spend the weekend together while I went to New Orleans for the American Montessori Society conference. It was nice for me to get away and they had fun hanging out together. On Saturday they went to the National Air Force Museum in Dayton for the morning. Matt showed Wyatt the B24 airplane, which is the type of plane that Wyatt's great grandfather flew in during WWII. Wyatt kept saying "Grandpa airplane" over and over again. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from then to share because I had the camera in New Orleans. Then on Sunday there was a family dinner at Mike and Ellen's house so Wyatt got to hang out with all of his cousins. I met them there from the airport so I could see Wyatt for awhile before bed. It was a nice weekend for all of us. Here are some other random pictures from February. Have a good weekend:)
