Happy Birthday!

It's hard to believe that Wyatt turned 2 on Monday! We had a great birthday weekend at the lake with the Glassmeyers and Nana and Papa. Wyatt had a lot of fun seeing all of his cousins and especially enjoyed playing with Hannah. They are too funny together! I made baseball cupcakes on Sunday for his birthday and he loved them...he ate all of his and then tried to eat the paper! He got a new tennis raquet from Mark and Tracy and the kids for his birthday and loves it. He's been talking about it since he got it on Sunday. I think it's time to sign him up for lessons:) Thanks GG and Grandpa for a great weekend at Norris!

Baptism, Landscaping and Birthdays

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted anything and we've had some fun things happen since then. First of all is that Wyatt was baptized on Sunday, April 19. It was a great day! It was so nice that most of the family could join us for this special day. Here are some pictures from that day.

The following weekend Matt's uncle Dan and his cousin Charlee from California were in town visiting. On Saturday some of us went to the zoo and then to Mike and Ellen's house for dinner and some chill time. On Sunday we spent the day at Matt's Grandma's house updating her landscaping in the front of her house. That night we all went to Mark and Tracy's house for dinner and more chill time. It was great hanging out with the family for the weekend and seeing Dan and Charlee!

The following weekend we had Grace and Hannah's birthday party at Coco Key Water Resort. All of the kids had a great time. Wyatt liked splashing around in the water, riding on my lap in the lazy river, and watching his cousins play. He wasn't a big fan of the little water slide but Hannah loved it!

Asheville

The rest of our weekend in Asheville was nice. The weather was beautiful on Sunday so we got to spent a lot of time outside. In the afternoon we went to the Lodge at French Broad Crossing, the place where my parents have property. We grilled out dinner at the lodge and hung out there for the evening. The boys had lots of room to run around and play and the adults got to chill and hang out. We were home by Monday night and Wyatt was happy to see daddy. The rest of this week has been laid back. Wyatt has gone to school while I have tried to be productive around the house. I have been working on getting the guest room move in ready for Wyatt when the baby comes:) It will be intereting moving him to a big boy bed! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Easter

I hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend! Wyatt and I are in Asheville, NC with Nana, Papa, and Evan for the weekend visiting my brother who recently moved down here. Today we took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt and they had a great time. They also got to decorate a bag to collect their eggs in and dye some eggs. Of course Wyatt wanted to "dunk" the eggs in the dye by throwing them in...not good with real eggs:) Most of his were cracked...but he had a great time doing it. After nap time we took them to a place called Fun Depot that has everything imaginable to play...go carts, miniature golf, climbing areas, etc. There was an area geared towards the younger children with slides, tunnels, and big soft play mats. The boys played nonstop for over an hour and loved it! We were trying to wear them out and I think it worked:) So far it has been a nice weekend. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow so we can get outside and play!
