Florida
So far we are having a great time down in Naples, Florida with Nana and Papa. We arrived down here very late on Saturday night and it was a slightly eventful trip down...but not as eventful as last year (which was a very good thing). Our flight left Cincy at 9:20 p.m. and arrived in Ft. Myers at around 11:30 p.m. Wyatt stayed awake for the entire flight! I was so sure he would crash and he never did...he was totally wired! He finally fell asleep in the car on the way to the condo at 12:45 a.m.! He was pretty much a wreck yesterday because his schedule was so off. Today he seems to finally be adjusting back to a normal routine...which is nice for all of us. He just took a 3 hour nap:) The weather down here is beautiful. Wyatt went swimming yesterday morning and this morning and so far is loving it. He was blowing bubbles and jumping in to me today while grinning from ear to ear. We went to the beach last night for the sunset and Wyatt enjoyed playing in the sand. He liked standing at the edge of the water and letting the waves come up on his feet. We are all having a nice time and I will update again throughout the week. Hope everyone is enjoying the start of their week:)

Christmas Begins
It really feels like the Christmas season now. On Saturday night we went to Christmas in Loveland and walked around there for awhile. Wyatt would neigh anytime a horse drawn carriage went by and he enjoyed checking out everything that was going on. Then on Sunday night we had the Wickemeyer (GG's side of the family) Christmas and had a great time hanging out with family. Wyatt had fun playing with his cousins Grace, Hannah, and Connor. We also went to church Sunday morning with Nana and Papa where the children did their annual Christmas play. Wyatt really liked the organ music and would ask for more when it stopped. In the past week he has gone from sounding like he was saying "no" for more to now saying "more" with what sounds like a southern accent...it's hilarious!
This afternoon Wyatt and I went over to Nana's house to bake Snickerdoodle cookies. Wyatt was very focused on helping us mix and stir the batter...and actually wanted to do it all by himself. He also liked rolling the balls of dough in the cinnamon and sugar. Anything is fun if it looks like a ball:)
Now for a a little update on Wyatt instead of everything we have been doing. He is doing really well with his two word sentences and is starting to use them on a regular basis...such as "more cracker", "uh, oh doggy", and "more itsy" (for singing more itsy bitsy spider). He does all of the motions to Itsy Bitsy Spider and loves to sing it...over and over again. He also regularly sings songs from school, some of which I haven't quite figured out the words to. He likes to dance in the car and wants us to dance along with him. He is at such a fun age right now and is really just a funny kid, making us and himself laugh all the time. Florida should be a lot of fun this year!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Festival of Lights
We had a great weekend with friends and family! On Friday night we celebrated Doug's birthday with dinner at Trio's. Evan and Wyatt had fun goofing off after dinner. On Saturday Wyatt took a 3 1/2 hour nap so he was ready to party Saturday night. We met Wyatt's infant teacher Carrie and her family at the Festival of Lights at the Zoo that night. Wyatt and her daughter Hallie are in the same toddler class so they had fun together...they had their first "date":). We always joke that they would make a cute couple...and she stands up for Wyatt if he gets "picked on" by any of the other kids in their class. It's pretty funny. After the Festival of Lights we went to our friend Chris and Francesca's annual Christmas party. Wyatt was a little party animal, staying up until 10:00! He had fun hanging out in the basement with the boys, learning how to play Golden Tee. He loved spinning the ball!
On Sunday we had a lazy morning at home until it was time to go to the Festival of Lights...again. Papa's law firm's Christmas party was there so we went with Nana, Papa, Doug, Michelle, and Evan. Wyatt got to sit on Santa's lap again and did a little better this time. We also met up with Matt's brothers and their families and with Matt's Grandma. Wyatt had fun seeing all 7 of his cousins that night! He was in total awe of all of the lights, the animals, and the train ride...the expression on his face was priceless:) The weather was warm and beautiful...a perfect night to be outside.

A Long Week
It's been a long week here at the Glassmeyer household. Wyatt ran a fever from very early Tuesday morning until Thursday morning. It doesn't seem like a long time but it felt like forever! Especially because he wasn't sleeping well at night. I was home Tuesday and Wednesday with him and he was so pitiful...all he wanted to do was be held and snuggle on the couch...and watch Baby Einstein videos. I think I have them memorized by now!
Yesterday morning we had breakfast with Santa at my parent's church. Wyatt had a great time but was not too excited about sitting on Santa's lap. He enjoyed everything else though. Then last night we joined Mike, Ellen and the girls and GG and Grandpa for the Lebanon Horse Parade. The weather was cold, but beautiful, because we actually had snow!
We got our Christmas tree today and Wyatt "helped" us decorate it. He was definitely better at taking ornaments off than putting them on. Also, he felt like he needed to dunk his basketballs in the tree. Besides that we had a lazy day around the house.

Happy Thanksgiving
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. We stayed around home this year and spent Thanksgiving with my family at Nana and Papa's house. It was nice to see everyone and Wyatt and Evan had fun playing together. Wyatt got a lot of Nana and Papa time this weekend! On Wednesday Nana, Katie, Wyatt, and I went to the zoo and checked out some animals. Then we hung out at their house for the rest of the day. Also, on Friday Wyatt got to hang out at their house for awhile without Matt and I...he loves spending time there:) He is so funny when he says "Papa" because he makes his voice real deep, just like Papa's. It's so funny! On Saturday morning my good friend Kenda went with us to Gymboree. Wyatt was trying to say her name all morning, but it didn't quite come out sounding like "Kenda". He tried though:) Then on Saturday night our friends Adam and Kenda and Chris, Frankie, and Emme came over to hang out. Wyatt was pretty sweet with Emme (who is 6 weeks old), giving her kisses on her head and taking her blanket to her. It was a great weekend! We were able to spend time with family and with friends we haven't seen in awhile.

Trains!
It's been a couple of weeks since I've posted, but not much has been going on here. We've had a couple of laid back weekends with not too much happening. Yesterday Wyatt got to hang out with Nana and Papa and today he got to hang out with GG and Gramps. It was a nice weekend:) Last weekend we went with Nana and Papa to a train display called Entertrainment. They have an awesome train display and a nice play area for the kids with toy train tables, a train to climb on, and a playground area. Wyatt had a great time and loved checking out all of the trains. He was in total awe of them! When a train would go into a tunnel he would say "bye, bye" or "uh-oh". We will definitely take him back there sometime. Most of the pictures following are from there. I hope everyone has a great week!
