Happy Halloween!

We had a busy but great Halloween weekend. On Friday Wyatt had his Halloween parade and party at school. I was able to go to both the parade and party this year and Nana and Evan joined us for the parade. Wyatt dressed up as a monkey but would not put on his hood...oh well, he's a two year old with his own agenda:) Then on Friday night we went to Maketewah Country Club for their Halloween party with Nana, Papa, and Evan. Wyatt spent most of the night out on the dance floor "dancing" (which really just consisted of jumping up and down and then crashing on the floor). We took it easy on Saturday until it was time for trick-or-treating. Wyatt rode his motorcycle around the cul-de-sac with his bag hanging from the handle bars. A great way to trick-or-treat! The rest of the night he spent playing basketball and playing with his buddy Elijah. It was a fun night and it was nice to have Papa join us at our house for it. To wrap up the weekend on Sunday we took Wyatt to Iron's Fruit Farm. We took a hayride and then walked a 12 acre corn maze. Wyatt really enjoyed the maze and we have decided to definitely go back next year! During this time Chase got to spend some time with Aunt Ellen, Grace, Hannah, and Grandpa...thanks Ellen for watching him!

Also, Chase is now 1 month old! On Friday we had his 1 month checkup and he passed with flying colors. He weighed 9 pounds 12 ounces (50th percentile) and was 21 inches long (25th percentile). We are now calling him our little peanut...as of now he's taking after me in the height department...that might not be a good thing though:)

We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend!

2 Weeks

Well Chase has officially been in this world for 2 weeks now and so far he's doing great:) Wyatt continues to be a good big brother and hasn't acted too jealous yet. He loves giving Chase kisses and has to say "good morning" and "good night" to him every day. Yesterday when Chase and I picked up Wyatt at school one of the other kids said "that's a baby" and Wyatt came over and said "that is my baby." It was pretty cute. Chase is sleeping pretty well at night going from 3-5 hours between feedings and then for the most part going right back to sleep. He's letting me get some sleep:) I think he is going though a little growth spurt right now because he's eating has picked up a lot! That's good because he's a tiny little one. I hope everyone is having a good week!

Chase Robert Glassmeyer

Matt, Wyatt, and I welcomed Chase Robert to the family on Tuesday September 29! Chase was born at 9:06 a.m. weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He is a healthy baby boy:) We came home from the hospital on Wednesday night and Wyatt was able to meet his new little brother. He was waiting at home with GG and was very sweet when he saw Chase for the first time. He calls him "baby Chase" and likes to give him kisses on the head. So far Wyatt is doing great with the new addition to the family...we've only had a couple of jealous moments:) Life is definitely different with two! We have been very blessed to have family around to help out and we have had lots of wonderful visitors. Wyatt is continuing to go to school in order to keep him in his routine and to give me some time with Chase. We had a great weekend and we hope everyone else did also! Here are a few pictures, but if you would like to see more please click on the link on the left side of the page that says "More Fun Photos". That will connect you to our Mobile Me Gallery where there are many more pictures posted. Have a great week!

Busy Times

It's been awhile since I've posted. We've had some busy weekends while we've been closing in on the baby's due date...2 1/2 weeks! (I am so ready!) We had a great Labor Day weekend and got to spend a lot of time with friends and family. On Friday night we took Wyatt to the AVP Tour volleyball games with Nana, Papa, and Evan. He enjoyed watching the volleyball and playing with Evan. On Saturday we spent all day at our friends Jim and Ashley's place for a Notre Dame party. It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend all day outside. Also, our good friends Adam and Kenda were in town and we got to hang out with them on Saturday and Sunday. It was so good to see them! On Monday we had Nana, Papa, Doug, Tara, and Evan over for brunch and then after that got to relax and hang out around the house:) A busy, but fun weekend.

Last weekend Wyatt and Matt were able to spend a lot of quality time together. On Saturday I hosted a baby shower at the house for my friend Julie, so Matt took Wyatt out for awhile. They went to Columbus for the opening of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Wyatt enjoyed checking out all of the cool motorcycles:) On Sunday we went to the Loveland Art Show and met our friend Mike with his two boys. I got to hang out for a little but then went to the Bengals game while Matt stayed with Wyatt. It was another beautiful day and a great day to be outside!

Today we had a great day just the three of us hanging out. We went to Alms Park that overlooks Lunken Airport in the morning to play. We watched planes take off and land and played on the climber. Then we went to the restaurant at Lunken Airport for lunch and got to check out a B-17 Bomber! It was a great day:) We have also been enjoying our new screen porch...it has been perfect weather for hanging out on it and we have spent almost every night out there.

Back to School

Wyatt has had a very smooth transition to his new room at school. He seems to like his new teachers Ms. Katie and Ms. Amanda and they said he is doing well. We hit a little bump in the road last week when he decided to get sick for my first day back with children. So he missed Wednesday and Friday of last week but was fully recovered by the weekend. I think he managed to do this last year too:) Last weekend we spent the entire weekend at Nana and Papa's house because Matt had a conference at the University of Cincinnati. Wyatt enjoyed some quality time with Nana and Papa and it was nice to be able to sneak away for some shopping on Sunday with Nana while Papa babysat. We are looking forward to a great time with friends this weekend!

Only 5 weeks until the baby is due:)
